Thump, thump...

Thump, thump, thump.

Tucker wagged his magical tail one last time a few moments ago.
He was held by me and Mike, Jordie and Nick.

We couldn’t have loved him more.

"I am so sorry that Tucky didn't pull thru. I know it made him feel better to have u all together for "the last wag," as u call it. BTW, who's responsible for that frame-worthy artwork?"

A woman by the name of "Pam". She is a teacher at the Paola High School and she comes in to the vet's office on Saturdays and paints the animals who are kenneled because they are sick. This picture has given me so much strength to get me through tonight and the next few days, I will track her down, tell her so, thank her and then no doubt blog about her. What an angel.

"Chris, sorry to hear about Tucker. He was a sweet dog, with such a great personality. He seemed to love everyone as they came in the door. I know how tough it is to lose a pet and will be thinking of you."

Your BLOG on your trip to Indiananpolis was excellent.

Then I have read about Tucker and I can feel yours, Mike and the kids pain and loss. My heart broke and my eyes over flowed knowing I have also lost a friend and I will not be greeted by a wagging tale and love when I come over.

I love you and send you my support!

I don't know how to express how sorry I am about Tucker, and the cruelty of the timing of what would be a sad but natural event. It's hard to have room to grieve properly and give it the attention it deserves and you need, when so many other things are happening at once. I can only say that I hold you in my heart, and Mike and Jordie and Nick as well.

Love,

Toby

Thanks Chris,
I printed off the photo of Tucker. I'll frame it and put it next to Ziggy's.

Your call was sad, but most welcome. I had been worried about him all weekend. Losing Tucker and Ted Kennedy on the same day are tough!
