Luck of the Irish

It could be said that it’s not been a very “lucky” year for my family.
But it’s all how you look at it.

When I concentrate on what we have, and not what I wish we had,
A true feeling of joy washes over me.

I can’t stop the future and the pain it promises from happening.
But I’m damn well not going to waste today worrying about it.

TC and I are going to Ireland in a couple of weeks to visit Toby and the “homeland”.
We have so much fun to look forward to,
And many more memories to make.

Best case, it will be a trip of a lifetime.
Worst case it will supply me with some much needed blogging material!
That’s a win/win!

And you never know…
I’m going to kiss that Blarney Stone and maybe our luck will change!

A WISH FOR MY FRIENDS

WISHING YOU A RAINBOW
FOR SUNLIGHT AFTER SHOWERS-
MILES AND MILES OF IRISH SMILES
FOR GOLDEN HAPPY HOURS-
SHAMROCKS AT YOUR DOORWAY
FOR LUCK AND LAUGHTER TOO,
AND A HOST OF FRIENDS THAT NEVER ENDS
EACH DAY YOUR WHOLE LIFE THROUGH!
