Unlike some Christmas gifts, this one from Toby and Steve to Mikey (the) Baker, has proven to be a great value add around the house.
Other than its obvious and direct violation of my dietary intentions, we are enjoying the fresh new smells and warm feelings of hominess that has enveloped our home since its Christmas Eve arrival.
Mikey is relatively new to bread baking; but you wouldn’t know it from this, his first loaf of Rye.
Now if only we had some homegrown fresh herbs!
